If you are currently a lab director, state law allows you to be director for up to five labs. If you are not currently licensed, but fit the below qualifications, we will pay for your licensure, malpractice and $250 per health fair. Requirements We are looking for a person that meets the following qualifications: 1. A person that resides in Nevada and has a business address that can be the lab base. All testing will be done off-site at health fairs. See below for further information. 2. A physician licensed in Nevada and certified in either anatomical or clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology; or 3. A person that holds a doctoral degree with a chemical, physical or biological science degree and certified by one of the following: - American Board of Medical Microbiology, - American Board of Clinical Chemistry, - American Board of Bioanalysis, - American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology - American Board of Forensic Toxicology, or - American Board of Medical Genetics. Position will report directly to Medical Director. We have complete Standard Operating Procedures for our testing. We use the Cholestech LDX machine to run only lipids and glucose via fingerstick on location at corporate health fairs. We submit to regular proficiency testing through API and run controls per state regulations. We will provide clinical lab technicians as required by state law. Health educators will be on-site to review all results with participants, give written results with reference ranges, and if the results are significantly out of range- a high risk referral form with recommended follow up timeframes. All results are stored for a minimum of 6 years.
